Customize the Google Search background in Chrome

If you would like to have a custom background on your search page in Chrome, you will need to install an extension for that since Google removed the ability to have a personalized image background. With the help of this new extension you can do more than just add an image, it lets you remove the Google logo plus it also lets you remove the lucky buttons, footer and promotional links.

To install this app head over to the Google Chrome Web store, hit on the install button to install, after the install a window will show up with different options.

When you are done installing the app select the source of the images you wish to show, you can choose as many as you wish and choose how they will appear.
