How to take screenshots in windows 8

Windows 8 brings a more brilliant way of taking screen shots of any active window. Unlike in the previous version of windows where you had to copy the image using the prtscn button, then pasting it into an image editing software in order to come up with a more decent image, windows 8 just requires a press of two buttons and that’s it.

Although you can still use the old fashion way of taking screen shots in windows 8, it just saves much more time to use the new method. Here is how to do it.

1.     Go to the page or screen you want to take the screenshot of.

2.     Press and hold down the windows key and print key, your screenshot will be taken and stored in the pictures folder as a png.
