BlackBerry Smartphones In 2016 Will Come With Android, No New BB10 Devices

Phone maker BlackBerry released their very first Android smartphone last year, the BlackBerry Priv and now the company has announced that all of their 2016 all BlackBerry smartphones will come with Android.

The news came from BlackBerry CEO John Chen who recently confirmed during an interview that there will be no no BB10 devices from the company this year but did not say if that will continue in the coming years.

The Blackberry CEO said that they will released at least one new Android powered BlackBerry smartphone in 2016 and possibly a second one.

The BlackBerry Priv which runs on Android appears to have be quite popular so far and the device could be about to get more popular in the US as it was revealed recently that it will soon be headed to more carriers in the US.

The Price is soon going to be available on three more of the major US carriers, which will include Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile.
