Samsung Galaxy Pocket: Review
the Samsung galaxy pocket is basically a budget, low end smartphone that includes most of the functions found in other high end smart phones. if you haven't had a chance to get a standard smartphone then you will definitely get a feeling of what having one is like.
The Samsung Galaxy pocket runs on Android 2.3powered by an 832MHz processor which is friendly during multitasking. the storage is also quite good compared to its cost. it come with a default 3GB internal storage expandable to 32 GB via micro SD cardslot.
The Galaxy pocket has 2.8" TFT display with a resolution of 320X240. its photo display might not impress you that much since it comes with 2MP camera even lower than other non-smartphone phones, but anyway this is what you get for your money.
Just like most phones with minimum programs and features it takes a while to suck up the juice which will give you some time to play, talk, take photos and even listen to some music for at least a day.the device comes with a 1200mAh battery that gives a good performance.
If you are one of those people that wont sit for at least 5 minutes without typing something on your phone, you might find it annoying typing on a full Qwerty keyboard cramped into a 2.8-inch screen, not to mention those with big hands.
Other interesting things about the Galaxy pocket include the FM radio, which can only set a maximum of four stations, but can get all the available stations in your specific country.
Above all i think the most exciting to me would be games and apps available via the Samsung app store which features games from Gamesoft and EA.
For those living in Kenya you can get a free Galaxy pocket for every purchase at the following stores.
