Safaricom Credit Balance inquiry

You will agree with me that there are some individuals who don't have an idea how to check the balance on their phone using their safaricom line. a lady who has been using safaricom post paid service for the last four years asked me how to do it and i thought i will write something about  it.  here is how to do it:


There are about four different ways:

1. Press *144# and then press the call button.


2. Go to your messages menu, go to create new message, and send a blank message to 144.


3. Go to your menu, then safaricom special menu (this is found in different location depending on the type of the phone), go to prepaid services then account balance and press OK.


4. Type 144 and  the call button then listen.
