Google Nexus 5 Specs Revealed

Google Nexus 4 which has been a hit device and many outlets have ran out of stocks a few times will not be restocked by Google anymore. But this isn’t a mystery as the next generation of Nexus, probably called Nexus 5, has shown up in a benchmark test packing a punch. It might be unveiled as soon as the end of October.

Even though the specs and images of the device were leaked before, the recent sighting of new Nexus on benchmarking website GFXBench, adds more credibility to what the device looks like.

“Google Nexus 5” will run on Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 800 quad-core chipset, clocked at 2.3GHz. This currently holds the title for being most powerful mobile chip in the world. It will be crowned by Adreno 330 graphics processor. This benchmark info also shows that Nexus 5 will run on Android Kitkat.

The new Nexus device will have a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, with on-screen resolution being 1794x1080 pixels.

It is rumored that the next Nexus will be manufactured by LG ad the device is said to be based on the new LG G2 Smartphone and is expected to come with 2GB RAM , 4.96-inch display, and 13MP rear camera.
