Twitter reportedly in talks for Video Content Sharing with NBC and Viacom

Twitter is said to be in talks with TV networks NBC and Viacom that could bring more and high quality video content and advertising to the micro blogging site.

 The partnership agreement could be reached by mid may, according to a report by Bloomsberg.

The reports say that the partnership will work by Twitter allowing video streaming to its site and sharing the revenue generated through the ads showed.

If the reports are true, this will be yet another new step by twitter to branch out from being just a microbloging site. Just last week twitter launched a music site that almost began the road to becoming a multimedia site.
