E-readers vs The Tablets

According to a research conducted by America's based Pew internet  an independent opinion research group, Most Americans prefer E-readers to Tablets. The number of people owning E-readers is said to have doubled in the last six month. the research conducted between 26 April and 22 may show that the percentage of adults who own a tablet has risen from 7% last November to 12% in May this year.

Among the many reasons sited, it seems the price was one of the major contributing factors, with a tablet costing almost 3-4 times more than E-readers and yet no big difference.

With some E readers like Kindle and the Nook color becoming more sophisticated it is easy to predict that adoption will increase though its still at a very early stage.
